Steps how to configure DHCP Server on OS6450, please see below.
1.สร้างไฟล์ dhcpd.conf บน PC-Computer ขึ้นมา config detail dhcp server ด้านล่างจะเป็นตัวอย่างคร่าวๆ

subnet 192.168.10.0 netmask 255.255.255.0

dynamic-dhcp range 192.168.10.51 192.168.10.200

option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
option routers 192.168.10.1;
option domain-name-servers 8.8.8.8;
option domain-name “example.com“;
option dhcp-lease-time 30000;
}

- สร้างไฟล์ dhcpd.pcy บน PC-Computer ขึ้นมา แบบ empty ไม่ต้องใส่อะไรลงไปในไฟล์นี้
- เปิด TFTP Server ในเครื่องที่เก็บไฟล์ dhcpd.conf และ dhcpd.pcy ไว้
- remote or console ไปที่ switch แล้วไปที่ path ->cd /flash/switch
- copy ไฟล์ทั้ง 2 เข้ามาใน switch (กรณีนี้จะเป็นการ get file จาก TFTP Server ซึ่งทั้งเครื่อง TFTP Server และ switch ต้องมี network connected ที่ peer หากันได้ก่อนนะครับ)
-> tftp x.x.x.x get source-file dhcpd.conf ascii
-> tftp x.x.x.x get source-file dhcpd.pcy ascii
- -> dhcp-server restart
- -> dhcp-server enable
- ทดสอบโดยการนำ PC มาปลั๊ก LAN port ที่ config dhcp วงนั้นไว้ (6450 ตัวที่ config dhcp-server ตามด้านบน จะต้องมี ip interface 192.168.10.1 เพื่อให้ตรงตามที่dhcpd.conf ระบุไว้ด้วยนะครับ)
